Peter Tetlow has had a varied work experience over the past 40 years. He spent 35 years with Delta Airlines as a Customer Service Supervisor, but took an early retirement after 9/11, which made a profound change in the airline industry.
Even during his time with the airlines, he was a business man and entrepreneur, who owned and operated several businesses over the years. They included a trucking company and a computer hardware sales business.
Peter became involved in the mortgage business over seven years ago, after he received training as a loan officer for an independent mortgage broker. From there, he was offered a position as senior loan officer for a mortgage company in Fife, WA. Two years later, he took over the ownership of the business and became the designated broker. During the recent recession, he made a decision to close down his residential business and continue his commercial lending business under a new business license.
Around the same time, Peter joined American Homes Corporation as their designated broker, and works in several capacities for them, including executive sales for the American Container Homes division and the liaison for the World Trade Center Tacoma.
